TV-out picture resize difficulties

I have seen a lot of threads about tv-out put but none with a solution for me.

I have the app OPlayer HD and experience difficulties playing videofiles on my ipad when it is connected with a hdmi cabel to a projector. The movie doesnt fill the entire screen. Usually when you have this connection set up, and for example browse on the web, the screen wont fill up entierly but when you watch a video on youtube for example the screen on the tv-output will automatically get bigger and resize to the entire width and height. But this dosent happend with the OPlayer HD, it stays the in the same format, i guess its 4:3.

The setting "TV-out" under general settings dosent help. If its "on" the screen gets black and i have to restart the app, and the picture gets back to how it was previously.

I have tried many different file formats, without a difference.

if you let it on, it should output video to the tv set.
and you can change aspect radio in the playing window with aspect radio button.

The tv output works with or without that setting on. But the problem is that the output wont adjust to the tv, it only gives a small picture in the middle of the screen with large black boxes above, beneath and laterally.

From what your said, I think you are using Mirror function ?Am I right ?

The setting "TV-out" in OPlayer is that playing video on the connected TV . (Maybe you need to turn off mirror).

Anyway, we will investigate mirror issues.

I'm not sure about that "mirror" thing. Where do I check if I have it enabled?

I've made a schematic regarding my problem to make it easier to understand.

When I play videos with the standard apple video player or watch videos on youtube the screen will enlarge and adjust automatically to the tv. But with OPlayer this is not the case.

Thanks for your photos. It is about mirror. I have the following suggestion :

1. You can turn off "Mirror", and turn on "TV-out" within OPlayer, then I think the movie will show well on TV. (Will reply you tomorrow how to turn off "Mirror")
2. We will fix the "Mirror" issue just as youtube did in next version .(Really sorry for now)

I dont use apple tv so I dont have that setting available. If I put TV-output "on" in OPlayer the screen gets black, but the sound remains.

I'm having the same issue with Blue SNA. It won't do full screen when I turn the "TV out" on.

Please fix this on your next update.
