Subtitles don't stream to chromecast

OPlayer plays almost any file formats in your iDevice, no need to spend several hours to convert your videos.

Subtitles don't stream to chromecast

Postby Bullitbaby » Tue Mar 26, 2019 9:04 am

I've tried move files with built in subtitles of .srt, .ssa, vbo/.Idx/.sub and SUP style subtitles
I've tried ,srt external subtitle files of the same name as movie.
They ALL display on the screen and play perfectly in any don't or color or size I want but Chromecast they vanish.
The only way to make them appear is to Chromecast the entire screen of OPLAYER while playing a movie using an app called screen mirror.
It works but audio must be listened to by headphones from iPad.
What a kluge method.
I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong. How could it be this hard??
IS CHROMECAST the PROBLEM and I need to use something else?
In the end, just tell me the best way to do this with Oplayer Chromecast or otherwise.
Thanks, RK

the two ways to work chromecast with subtitles:
1. mirroring the whole screen to chromecast, we will add this feature in the future update
2. using a movie with embedded subtitle, not 100% works, needs chromecast has the ability to do the decoding.
