how to connect to my NAS

Postby dasaecor » Wed Mar 23, 2011 12:32 am

Hi,

I´ve just purchased your software because of its ability to play music from NAS servers.

Could you please indicate how to do it?

I go to File --> Oper URL and input this route "smb://nasad1a43/Qmultimedia/Musica/MP3_001" but it gives a message that it cannot open it.

Tks.

Currently not support samba protocol.
Does your nas support HTTP or UPnP, if it supports UPnP, it will be auto detected in the playlist-->media server list

Is there any way to try that before I buy it?
This is the most important feature for me.

If your iPhone/iPad version OPlayer works, then the MAC version should works too.

It don´t have to be like that because my iPad version has a ftp-server that I connect to and then play the file from this server.
As I understand it I don´t have a ftp-server in the Mac OS version?

iPad version has a FTP client, not a FTP server.
I mean you can try to input
ftp://username:pass@domain/filepath in the Open URL section
